How to enable WiFi calling on your phone

What is WiFi calling?
When you have a good WiFi signal but not so great mobile network signal your phone can make and receive calls and texts using the broadband.
WiFi calling is often automatically enabled by your mobile phone provider but sometimes is not. You will need to call them to confirm.

Step 1
Go to Settings, then Phone and tap the WiFi Calling option.

Tap the toggle button to turn on

Step 1
First press the phone icon which takes you to the calling screen. Then the three dots, top right, for the menu. Then settings.

Then turn on the toggle for Wifi calling.
Unlike iPhones, Android phones come from many different manufacturers and each often have their own software overlay on top of the Android system. This means not all menus are the same across brands. Generally the WiFi calling option will be in a similar place as above but not always the same.
